Included are some samples of Bobby Hackett performing at the Milton, MA Jazz Concert in 1963 (at which speaker Steven Kane was present - applauding with the rest of the audience.) (This program does not duplicate material presented in Stars of the Swing Era program.)
Dr. Steven M. Kane received his doctorate in Cultural Anthropology from Princeton University. He is a psychotherapist in private practice in Providence and a part-time professor of anthropology at URI and RIC. A professional jazz pianist, he is experienced as a jazz educator, record reviewer, and keyboard teacher. He is the founder and director of the Life-Enrichment Center of New England.
Availability: Varies according to the speaker’s clinical and teaching schedules. Both daytimes and evenings are possible.
